About Us

The Cumberland County Tax Administration Office consists of the Collections, Real Estate , Operations, Mapping , Tax Audit and Customer Service . The Tax Administration Office operates between the hours of 8am and 5pm.

The Tax Collector's Division , as mandated by statute, is responsible for collecting all property taxes, pet license fees, other taxes imposed upon businesses, and other fees and assessments as charged by the governing body and as authorized to collect for the various municipalities as specified by intergovernmental agreement.

The Real Estate Division appraises and assesses all real property in the County in accordance with the provisions of law to achieve accurate, equitable and fair assessments.

Operations is responsible for the updating and appraising of personal property in accordance with the provisions of the law.

The Mapping Division uniformly maps all real property located in the County as prescribed by law.

Tax Audit is responsible for the auditing of business personal property listings, Food & Beverage Tax, Rental Vehicle Gross Receipts Tax and Room Occupancy Tax. Auditing ensures the proper listing of business personal property and compliance by businesses to pay their fair share of taxes.

Customer Service is the primary point of contact for listing personal property (business and non-business), as well as changes to Real Estate.
